Yugara
Yugara is a browser-based multiplayer action RPG that starts from a link: no download, no launcher, no install. It pairs real-time combat and a persistent living world with procedurally forged gear that is unique to each player, and progress saves automatically between sessions. The long-term bet is onchain ownership, so players truly own what they forge.

Browser MMORPG
Browser MMORPG · Real-time combat · Data-driven weapon and spell system · Procedurally forged gear · Persistent world · Onchain ownership roadmap
Live in alpha at yugara.gg. Playable in one click with no downloads, and fair monetization: cosmetics and convenience only.
Mission
Mission
Most MMOs ask for a 40GB download before the first sword swing. I wanted the opposite: a world you can enter in one click, where the interesting loot is generated instead of farmed from a static drop table, and where what you earn is actually yours, with onchain ownership of characters, gear and virtual property on the roadmap.

Challenge
Challenge
Real-time multiplayer combat is unforgiving inside a browser. Every weapon and spell has to resolve fairly for players on wildly different connections, a persistent world of towns, shops, inns and guilds has to stay consistent between sessions, and AI-generated gear has to stay balanced when no two drops are identical.

Solution
Solution
I built the combat layer as a data-driven weapon and spell system, so new gear and abilities are content rather than code. Procedural forging generates weapons and armor unique to each player, the Maelstrom arena handles PvP, and accounts persist automatically. Monetization stays fair: cosmetics and convenience only, so free and paying players compete as equals.
